Fan-Fiction - Zelda: The Fall of Ganon - part 1
One day, as Link of the Kokiri, awoke to a single ray of sunlight shining through his slightly parted curtains, Link felt a great evil building its force up, a force that would surpass everything know to the land of Hyrule. He decided that he, the chosen warrior, must seek out this evil and destroy it, once and for all.
He knew he had to check with the princess of Hyrule to make sure this wasn't an interpretation. Once he arrived at the castle, the guards wouldn't let him pass, saying the king was not to be disturbed-BY ANYONE-but, as link was craftier than any of the guards in Hyrule he snuck into the castle and found the king in his audience chamber, quite melancholy. The king told him of how an evil so malevolent had swept into the castle and taken Zelda. He didn't know what it was, he said it was invisible.
Link was joined outside the castle by Impa, who had some more helpful information about the kidnapping of Zelda. She said that he must go to the temple of Mystiscim, which was a closely guarded secret of the Sheiks, and begin his quest.
When he got to the temple, however, he found it to be overrun by Ganon's evil minions. He was just approaching the temple when a Gohma, which was hidden in a bush, struck. It dealt Link a blow to the arm so Link quickly repelled its next blow and dug his sword deep into its eye, the only place where it wasn't protected by armor. Then he began he ascent down the stairs of the temple,to unravel the evil behind Zelda's kidnapping.
