Q. Is it true that some pre-orders won't get a gold cart even though
the store advertised it?
Dan says - You must ask the store you
pre-ordered it from if you will be eligible for the golden cart.
Q. Will there be a day and night and if so what will the
ratio be like?
Dan says - There will definitely be a day
and night in Zelda 64. The ratio is unknown, but it will probably be realistic.
Q. Will the 64DD version of Zelda be an addition to the
awsome cartridge, or an origanal game with its own story and characters?
Dan says - Not much is know about ZeldaDD.
This may or may not come out depending on if Nintendo plans to release the Nintendo 64
Disk Drive (64DD).
Q. So your saying it will only take 40 hours to beat? That's
not very good replay value!
Dan says - No. That was just a rough
estimate of the total time it would take to beat the game. From recent reviews, it seems
like it will take much more time than 40 hours to beat Zelda 64.
Q. What is Zelda 64 rated?
Dan says - It will be rated E.
This stands for Everyone.
Q. (1)Will Sahasrahla be in Zelda 64? (2)When riding the
horse how do you change speeds and ride at the same time?
Dan says - (1) Zelda 64 takes place before
all other games in the Zelda series, so this would be unlikely. (2) Link will give Epona
carrots or whip her to make her go faster.
Q. What can you use for Zelda 64, rumble pack, 4mb. expansion
pack, what?
Dan says - Yes. You will be able to
use the rumble pack. The 4mb expansion pack came out after they were almost completly done
with Zelda 64, so it will not use the expanion pack.
Q. Can you play Zelda 64 from the bird's eye view, like the
previous games?
Dan says - This might be a feature included
in Zelda 64, although it is pretty unlikely.
Q. Is Zelda 64 like Quest 64 where you battle in a little
circle?
Dan says - No. Zelda 64 is an action/rpg,
not an rpg. The action part of it means that you can do almost anything you want.
Q. What is the name of Link's horse?
Dan says - Link's horse will be named Epona.
Q. I was told by a friend that Zelda 64 will have a
multi-player mode. The
friend is usually pretty accurate when it comes to video games, but I
thought that I'd check with you anyway. So, will it have a multi player
option?
Dan says - No. Zelda 64, like every other
Zelda game, will be a single player adventure.
Q. I looked at your map and I saw an odd land off to the side
what is it's name? My second question is will you be able to go both ways through a
passage under ground?
Toodelooo says - When you say an odd land I
almost laugh. There are a lot of odd lands in this game. There is the Deku Tree, Lost
woods, Goron City, and more.
Q. Is there only one town or are there many like in Zelda 2 :
Link's Adventure.
Dan says - There will be many towns.
Kakariko Village is one. Goron City is another one. There is also a market located near
the castle. There might not be as many a Zelda 2, though.
Q. Will Agniham return or will there just be Ganon?
Dan Says - From the movies,
screenshots, and articles, there will probably be no Aghniham in this game.
Q. Will a comprehensive map be offered within the game,
similar to that of "A Link to the Past"?
Dan Says - Yes, Nintendo will
send out the Player's Guides to the local retailers, then you can buy them from there. It
will probably also be offered later, through the Nintendo Power Magazine.
Q. Where can I pre-order?
Dan Says - Toys 'R' us, Babbages, Wal-mart,
Electronics Boutique (EB), Best buy, those kinds of places.
Q. (1.) Will Zelda have blood and (2.)What will it's price in
Canadian Dollars?
Dan Says - 1. If any, little.
2. Ask Nintendo Power for the official say.
Q. How long will it take for Link to grow up?
Dan Says -No time at all. He is put into
some sort of sleep, then awakened 7 years later. You start out as a 10 year old, then fall
asleep some how, then wake up when you are 17.
Q. Will there be Zelda 64 action figures, posters, etc.?
Dan Says - Yes. Infact, if you pre-order at
some places, you are guaranteed these items when you pick up the game.
Q. I pre-ordered before October 22nd at Toys'R'us. Will
I still get a gold cartridge?
Dan Says - You must ask the
retailer if they knew about the gold cartridges. If they say you are not eligible, cancel
the order, get your money back, put on a wig, and go pre order it again.
Q. I heard that Miyamoto would make a sequel to Zelda 64, Is
that true?
Dan Says - Yes. But this will be Zelda DD,
and you will need the 64DD to play it.
Q. Is it true that the map is so big it takes 24 hours to
travel from one end of Hyrule to the other?
Dan Says - Not exactly. Nintendo said it
would a gaming day, not a day. If you ride your horse, Epona, it would not take that long.
Q. Will a controller pak be required to save games?
Dan Says - No. There will be 3 game-save
slots built into the game.
Q. How many megabits is the Zelda64 cartridge?
Dan Says - It is 256 megabits in size.
Q.I heard that Zelda 64 would require a N64 add on to be
played. Is this true or can I play Zelda 64 with my Nintendo 64, just as I bought
it?
Dan Says - No add-ons are required to play
Zelda 64 on your Nintendo-64. If the N64dd (Nintendo 64 disk drive) is ever released,
Nintendo might make a ZeldaDD, which would require a 64DD.
