Q. How do i get a fish in my bottle?

Dan says - Go to the shallow water in Zora's Domain, near the fish, and use the bottle. You may have to try many times.

Q. How do you collect all the chickens in the village?

Dan says - You go find the chickens, then pick them up, and throw them in the fenced off area.

Q. Is there a code to get all items ?

Dan says - No.

Q. I'm stuck in a room on the 3rd floor of the Deku tree.  HELP ME!!!

Dan says - Try shooting the ladder above the entrance with your slingshot.

Q. I'm a beginer a zelda and I'm not sure what the deal with his life-long story is. Could you explain?

Dan says - The name of the male character is Link. He tries to save princess Zelda every time Gannondorf Dragmire captures her.

Q. What is the deal with all the faries floating around people and what do they do?

Dan says - The Kokiri get thier faries at a very young age. They help you on your quest.

Q. Where is the first sword?

Dan says - It is behind the training center in Kokiri Forest.

Q. How do you get the shield in Kokiri forest?

Dan says - You go to the store with the red roof and buy it from them.

Q. How or where can  I order the Zelda (gold cartridge). And how much does it cost?

Dan says - You may never get your hands on a golden Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time cartirage. You had to pre-order it a long time ago to get one. Unless Nintendo makes more gold cartirages, many people will go with the gray cartirage.

Q. My friend told me that its not Link, it is Links cousin that is playing him. Is that true?

Dan says - Your friend isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the box, if you know what I mean. Why would Link's cousin play in Ocarina of Time? I didn't realize he had any cousins.

Q. Alright, I have called several stores and most of them said that Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time would not be there until November THE 25TH!!! After three, years, I can hardly wait any longer! Is this just because of the particular store, the region, or what? Or, is it not coming on the 23rd in stores at all?

Dan says - Well, Nintendo ships the games to the retailers on the 23rd. Then they should get there the 24th. If you live far away, or the store has a late shipment, you will get it on the 25th.

Q.What else do you get for pre-purchasing the game?

Dan says - It depends on where you pre-ordered it.

Q. Will there be any cheat options in Ocarina of Time?

Dan says - Ahhh...Come on! Do you really want to spoil the whole gaming experience with some stupid cheats?

Q. Will the US version of the game work with a UK machine and convertor ?

Dan says - Zelda will be no different than any other game converter-wise. If other games work with the converter, Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time will also work with it.

Q. Will the game have a built in clock to time how long it takes to beat it like in the previous Zelda ?

Dan says - Well, many people believe that the gameplay will be a total of 100 hours all together.

Q. Is there a release date for the possible Zelda64(DD)?

Dan says - It is not certain that the 64DD will even come out in the U.S. If it does, ZeldaDD might not come out until late 2000 or early 2001. This is only if Nintendo keeps up its great reputation for delaying games.

Q. What does RPG stand for?

Dan says - RPG stands for Role Playing Game.

Q. ok.. I'm pretty confused...  I put a down payment of $10 on Z64 to insure that I got a gold cartridge..  I just read that you had to pre-*purchase* the game.. does this mean that my $10 down payment will be voided and I will not receive a gold cartridge?

Dan says - A down payment is the same as pre-purchasing the game. So, you will get Ocarina of Time.

Q. Can I still finish the game without the rumble packs secret finding ability?

Dan says - Yes. The rumble pack will only give you a hint of when a secret is near. By fully exploring, you can find a secret without the rumble pack.

Q. When is the expansion part on the DD coming out for Zelda?

Dan says - Probably after the N64DD comes out.

Q. WILL ZELDA KICK AS MUCH BUTT AS ITS SUPPOSED TO?

Dan says - Yes.

Q. I have two questions.  All the text in Zelda will be English right? I saw some screen shots where some was and some wasn't. And about the rumble pak, you wont have to have to play right, like to feel the fish biting your line.

Dan says - All of the text in the English version will be in English. The screenshots were in Japanese because those particular screenshots had not been translated yet.

Q. I recently heard that Zelda the gold cart is no longer available unless you prepurchased, other wise tough luck!  Is this true??

Dan says - This is true. Like the saying says : "Ye snoozed, ye loozed."

Q. Will Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time use the expansion pack?

Dan says - You should read the FAQ before sending in a question. I believe this question has already been answered. But, no, Ocarina of Timewill not use the expansion pak. The expansion pack came out after they were almost finished with Ocarina of Time.

Q. Will the rumble pack be used just to find secrets, which is what I heard, or will it rumble when you ride the horse or when a fish bites your line in the mini-fishing game? 

Dan says - It will be used for both. In other words, before buying Ocarina of Time, get the Rumble Pack.
