I am the mother of a twelve year old boy who loves RPG games. We loved Zelda Link to the Past, it became a game we played together (I was puzzle helper). We have been anxiously awaiting the new Zelda, and it does not disappoint! But why, oh why, did they portray the great fairy as a cheap, sleazy hooker? In my mind I see the fairy as a helper, something celestial and pure, not some hoochie with an ear-piercing chortle that dispences her magic from her crotch. This is by far my only complaint, one shared by all moms who have mentioned the great fairy before I have had a chance to mention her. We are all soccer moms, we all bought the game for Christmas, and now we see why the dads are playing as well. It is something that maybe they will change in the next game. We are having a great time. The puzzles are sophisticated and there is some real meat to the game, it goes and goes, something I appreciate. Thanks for the forum to express my opinion.

Dan says - Bwahaha. Finally someone agrees with me on this issue. I think that Nintendo might of been trying to compete with Sony Playstation's Tomb Raider. If you've ever seen a commercial, you know what I mean.

How do I get dark link to come to my house after I have passed the game?

Dan says - OK. This is really confusing though. First, you ride Epona to Ganon's Castle. Then after you've jumped into the lava 64 times, you must then go fight Ganon. Then you must lose to him 64 times. On your final death, you must die by blowing yourself up. Then after you realize this was a big hoax, you spam dan@z64central.com until he gets so mad his face turns red.

I have a question about getting a heart piece. I have checked out a few site but nobody has really asked this question. As a child need to play the Treasure Box game in order to get the heart piece. Well I have tried many times, spending 1000's of rubees but I have never won. I was wondering if there is a certain way to do it, or some logic that I am not getting. Any answer would be really helpful.

Dan says - You can use the LENS OF TRUTH to see what is inside these treasure chests.

I beat Ganondorf twice like it says. The castle fell down and I saw the credits. When I started to play again I was in the castle and it was like I hadn't beaten Ganondorf. Why is it like this?

Dan says - In Zelda 3, there was no way to beat the boss and save it after. I suppose that you also can't save it in Zelda 64 after you defeat Ganon.

I read the FAQ and couldn't help noticing how dumb some people are. It must be really frustrating dealing with the idiots asking questions like "duh, what's a START button?" and crap like that. Thanks for putting out a pretty cool Zelda site and for putting up with the morons.

Dan says - There's a start button!?! Awesome!! Hold on lemme tell all my buddies.....

Your site is truly awesome! It was great to keep me informed before the game came out and it was awesome to help me when I was stuck! (Although it didn't happen very often!) I still like to come here to see your updates, the review, etc. I also like the idea of your chat and I come very often! Not that I need any help anymore, but rather to help people who are stuck where I was stuck the first time! Keep up the good work!

Dan says - That's the kind of talk that makes me want to get up in the morning and say 'I'm

Your sight sucks serious meat!!!!!!
You suck too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do us all a favor and don't guit your day job!!!

Dan says - NOOO!!! NOT THE MEAT!!!! DONT BRING UP THE MEAT!!! I WILL NEVER SHOW MY FACE TO LIGHT AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Death to Navi!  Am I the only one who hates our worthless fairy guide?  I think not!  What game tester let this slip by?  What drugs is this fairy on that causes her to start nagging about things you did twenty minutes ago?  This would probably be a perfect game if she didn't bleat like a sheep every five minutes with some useless comment...Kill Navi!  Zelda 64 part 2 - the adventures of Link's flyswatter...

Dan says - Good idea. I dont know about you, but I would definately buy the game.
