Hey, Dan, here is the question that French or Spanish person wrote for the Mailbag :
le monstre de la fin(Ganondorf) est il plus dur a batre que les autre zelda?
Well the translation is:
(is) The monster of the aim (the monster you are aiming to beat) (Ganondorf) is harder to beat than the other Zelda?

Dan says - Thank you for translating that. In response, Ganon is much more difficult in Zelda 64 than any other Zelda game.

The character Saria, was her face modled or modeld or however you spell it, off of some one else?  I mean was there someone that looked like her?   Cuz she a hot chick!  Hee-hee.  Aren't I stupid?

Dan says - That's an interesting comment. Nintendo says the characters are modeled after real people. The horse was also modeled after a real horse.

Your site is great I visit it everyday. And the walk-thoughs are exetremely informative when I need a hint.

Dan says - Thanks for the compliment. Some people are saying 'I beat the game twice before you guys were even on Shadow Temple' and other stuff of that nature. I am sure that many many more people will buy Zelda 64. When they get the game, the Walk-throughs section will be completely finished.

I've heard the gold edition has a different ending, is this true?

Dan says - No. Nintendo has stated that the gold version is technically the same as the gray version.

I haven't beaten the game yet and was wondering if there is a second quest? if not then don't mock me because I just didn't know!!

Dan says - There does not seem to be any second quest in this game. If there was, it would be all over the internet right now.

You site is great, but you know, the music gets on the nerves.   Perhaps
adding an off switch would make it more tolerable.

Dan says - Well.. That's ok. I am sure that somewhere on your speaker there is a little dial with the words 'Volume Control' next to it. I am sure you can turn it up and down. In other words - we are not getting rid of the music.

What would Zelda DD be about? This game covers almost everything I can think of so if they do come out with a Zelda DD game the storyline would probably be pretty crappy because they probably used everything. What do you think?

Dan says - It could be a prequel or a sequel to the Zelda series. It could be about the time before The Ocarina of time, or after A Link to the Past. It could also tie in the Gameboy game somewhere.

I remeber a long time ago (in 1996/1997) There was a guy like you at Nintendo power named Dan. And he answered questions too. I was wondering is that you?

Dan says - You are talking about Dan Owsen. He still works at Nintendo. He has an article called Ask Dan which is located at the Official Nintendo Website.
